Rusty Pz III

A rusty Pz III, which is also the model that I used for the Home page of this here web site. I'm sure some of you may have searched for the build blog of this model, or at least more pics of the model. I did not post any pics until now because the model, an article, will be published sometime in a magazine.

For now here are some pics of the model, but not the pics that will be in the article. The model was built basically OOTB with just a few things done to it to give it the appearance of being old and sitting out somewhere for a long period of time.

The painting was done in my usual style, mixing different techniques and weathering material.

The techniques used on this model helped improve my rusting skills, and I put the lessons learned on this model to paint the M4A3 Sherman. Another Model, a rusty Panther is the result of the improved techniques learned from these two.
